Aaron's 1993 Turbo MR2
Aaron has owned almost 25 MR2’s and Celica’s, but currently his collection is limited to just 2. The first is a 1993 Steel Myst Grey turbo with basic bolt-ons. This car laid down a 13.27 @ 107.6 mph run at Alabama International dragway just hours after it drove 700 miles from Texas for the 2002 Southeast International MR2 Owner’s Club meet. The cars list of performance modifications is fairly short: ATS upgraded CT27 turbocharger, Greddy Power Extreme Exhaust, HKS EVC IV boost controller, ATS intake filter, and a Turbo XS blow off valve. Don’t forget this is a 1993 MR2 so it already sports the upgraded transmission with OEM LSD, larger brakes and upgraded rear suspension. Exterior modifications include a Bomex replica bumper out front, 94+ taillights and a set of 17" JDM Sparco NS-II 17x9 and 17x8 wheels with Yokohama tires. The car has been lowered with a set of Eibach Sportline springs. This 93 has all the typical 93 options like t-tops, ABS, power windows, power steering and A/C. The interior was updated with JDM seats with leather side bolsters and suede centers. The door panel inserts are also suede.
